Robert P. Turner
Center for Professional Excellence
A Legacy of
Leadership
On July 14, 2021, the ready mixed concrete industry lost a great leader when Robert P. Turner passed away. Bob was not only the first to serve as Executive Director of the RMC Research & Education Foundation, he was a staunch supporter of both the concrete industry in general and the Foundation specifically, helping to raise millions to launch the Foundation's endowment and ensure support for the industry in perpetuity.
In establishing the Robert P. Turner Center for Professional Excellence, we honor Bob's commitment to continually advancing the concrete industry. The Center has an endowed fund within the RMC Research & Education Foundation that will specifically fund education and recruitment courses and tools for the industry. If you would like to support this effort with a donation or pledge, you may find a pledge form here or may make a secure donation online here. If making a donation online, please be sure to specify that it should go to the RPT Center in the notes section.
